In a statement issued on Monday, the Arab Parliament also denounced the Israeli occupation forces' violation of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil (Hebron), where they prevented worshippers from entering the site, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
The parliamentary statement further condemned the “aggressive attack” on Nur Shams refugee camp in the northern West Bank, during which two young Palestinian men were martyred.
Labeling these actions as "war crimes and crimes against humanity", the Arab Parliament emphasized that the Israeli violations only serve to incite more violence and further complicate the ongoing conflict.
The Arab Parliament urged the international community, the UN Security Council, and human rights institutions to put more pressure on the occupying regime to cease its continuous assaults against the Palestinians.
The statement reiterated the status of al-Aqsa Mosque as a sacred place of worship for Muslims, under the custodianship of Jordan.

Media reports said about 350 settlers desecrated the mosque courtyard through the Maghareba Gate in the western wall of the mosque.
In recent months, Israeli Zionists have ramped up their intrusions into al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the holiest Muslim sites in the world, in what is believed to be a plot to divide the mosque and turn parts of it into a Jewish temple.
An agreement between Jordan and the Israeli regime, signed after the seizure of East al-Quds in 1967, prohibits non-Muslim worship at al-Aqsa Mosque.
